Donations are collected by SponsorAFamily.org and distributed weekly to each family’s PayPal account, minus a 10% overhead to cover platform costs.

Is my donation tax‑deductible?

No. SponsorAFamily.org is not a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are personal contributions and are not tax‑deductible.

Browse family profiles and click “Sponsor This Family” to make a donation. You’ll be directed to a secure PayPal page where you can contribute using PayPal, credit card, or debit card. Donations are processed by SponsorAFamily.org and distributed weekly to the family.

Donations are processed by SponsorAFamily.org and distributed weekly to the family’s PayPal account. A 10% overhead is retained to cover platform costs. Families do not see donor information.

Does SponsorAFamily.org take a fee?

Yes. SponsorAFamily.org retains a 10% overhead from each donation to cover hosting, admin, verification, and support services. The remaining 90% is distributed directly to the family every Friday.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept donations through PayPal, which supports credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal balance payments.

How are families verified?

We verify PayPal accounts and ensure all required fields are completed before a listing goes live. Families are responsible for maintaining accurate and honest profiles.

What if I have concerns about a family’s authenticity?

If you have concerns about any family profile, please contact us. We take fraud prevention seriously and will investigate any suspicious activity.

Will families see my personal information?

No. Donations are processed through SponsorAFamily.org, and families do not receive donor names, emails, or contact details.

 

Can I report a suspicious or inaccurate family profile?

Yes. Each family listing includes a “Report this profile” link. If you believe a profile is misleading or violates our guidelines, you can flag it for review. We take reports seriously and investigate promptly.

I’m a family in need. How can I get help?

Visit our Become a Sponsored Family page to apply. Once you complete the required fields, you’ll be auto‑registered as an affiliate and redirected to create your family profile. Your listing will go live immediately.

How long does it take to get approved?

Families are approved automatically once all required fields are completed. There is no manual review delay.
